Clara E. Tao, D.D.S.

Dr. Clara Tao grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska. After attending the University of Nebraska, she graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in 1981. She has had a passion for practicing dentistry and caring for patients for 35 years. Dr. Tao is a member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association and the Colorado Springs Dental Society. She has served as president of the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry Alumni Association Board of Directors and enjoys volunteering for Kids in Need of Dentistry here in Colorado Springs. Her hobbies are arts and crafts, reading, games, crocheting and enjoying family time.

Douglas Colvin, D.D.S.

Dr. Douglas Colvin grew up in the small town of Crete, Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in 1981. Dr. Colvin enjoys a wide variety of procedures in dentistry but especially enjoys his interaction with patients. Dr. Colvin is a member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association and the Colorado Springs Dental Society. He was a volunteer track coach at Lewis-Palmer high school and UCCS for many years. He also helped coach both of his daughters in the pole vault. In his spare time, Dr. Colvin enjoys watching college sports, restoring old tractors, enjoying the Colorado scenery and spending time with his family. He has been in the area for 21 years and loves the Colorado Springs community.

Katherine Colvin, D.D.S.

Dr. Kate Colvin grew up in Monument, Colorado and graduated from Lewis-Palmer high school. She earned her DDS from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry. After graduating in 2014 she practiced in Lincoln, Nebraska until her move to Colorado in early 2016. At UNMC she became experienced with the latest technologies and techniques of dentistry. Dr. Kate has been involved in many dental missions and outreaches, and even had the opportunity to practice dentistry in Peru on the Desana Dental Mission, one of her favorite dental experiences. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry especially getting to know her patients. Dr. Kate is a member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association and the Colorado Springs Dental Society. In her spare time, Dr. Kate, enjoys skiing, hiking, reading and spending time with her husband, Chris, and their daughter, Samantha.
